If you’re a true bitcoiner, you should probably skip this — it’ll spoil the fun.

But if you’re new to Bitcoin, allow me a few hints. This place can feel overwhelming to the uninitiated — much like the first time you heard about private keys and encryption.

Like Bitcoin, each chamber is unique. And to read an artwork’s description, you must first decrypt it. That long string of characters is real: it is the raw hex of the first Bitcoin transaction ever made — January 12th, 2009, when the network’s pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, sent 10 BTC to the early cryptographer Hal Finney. Twenty-one of its characters stay lit, shifting by the magic of randomness.

Each chamber also hides a glowing Bitcoin icon. Hold it close — in self-custody — and you may glimpse Bitcoin’s true light.

Tesla swore the secret was in three, six and nine. He never mentioned the door beyond the twenty-first chamber.
